Bewley's Cafe on Grafton Street is a world famous attraction. In 1996 it was completely refurbished during a twelve week shut down period.
The extremely restricted site on Dublin's busiest shopping street and the short programme, presented a unique challenge to the P. Elliott & Company project team. This challenge was embraced and the goals set were achieved.
Demolition and re-construction continued round-the-clock with the most disruptive activities being carried out overnight, thus overcoming the operational difficulties of working on a restricted site.
P. Elliott's in-house companies Woodskills & Steelskills provided high quality joinery and metalwork to this project and ensured a speedy completion.
The attention to detail and quality of workmanship on this project are second to none, and is a testament to the in-house skills of all the P. Elliott & Company divisions.
