This project was won by P. Elliott & Company at competitive tender and involved the construction of a High Bay Warehouse & Distribution facility on an operational site in Dublin 18. One of the biggest challenges in the project was to deliver the construction to completion with the programme whilst at all times ensuring that the ongoing activities of the Client were not affected by the works.
The project consisted of a 10,000 sq metre high tolerance warehouse floor and a 2,000 sq metre office building for the Allegro Distribution and Logistics business.
The floor of the warehouse was arranged in narrow aisles in this High Bay warehouse. The entire floor was poured and supervised by an our team. The only external involvement was for the Independent Certificaion of the tolerances.
The building comprises of a structural steel frame with composite wall cladding and built up roof system. A Category 1 Super flat floor was installed with a +/-0.5 tolerance for lifting stock 10m hight onto the racking shelves.
This project demonstrates the ability of P. Elliott & Company to work in operational areas without distuption to client activities.
