This project comprises a new Leisure Centre in Tullamore, overall approximate size of 13,500m2 incorporating:
- 25m x 10m five lane swimming pool, Children's pool and Learner’s pool
- Fitness gym and aerobics room, Sauna and steam room
- Floodlit outdoor all-weather pitches, External car parking and landscaping
- Office Administration Facilities, Public Viewing Gallery
The contract was awarded to P. Elliott by competitive tender under Public Procurement procedures. The building has a concrete basement with a combination concrete and steel frame, “Glulam” beams, standing seam roof, with rendered finishes, and high-specification curtain walling. This project demonstrates the ability of P. Elliott & Co. Ltd. to deliver modern high-quality leisure centres throughout Ireland, to the highest standards, and to demanding programmes.
