The Kosher enabling plant is a unique project given that it was undertaken in extremely confined conditions in the existing Drogheda Concentrate Plant while the plant was in full operation. This required intensive co-ordination between Main Contractor, Client and the Project Management Company to ensure the project was completed within budget and on programme.
The project itself included the provision of a new plant within an existing live facility. Work comprised extensive indoor ground work, erection of structural steel and alteration of existing structural steel, provision of new first floor level with specialist floor finishes, co-ordination and installation of new process equipment with mechanical and electrical services.
The programme required that several areas of the project were handed over prior to the entire project being finalized due to the extensive period of running-in required for the process equipment. The phased handovers were managed successfully and the project ran smoothly for all parties thanks to the meticulous attention to detail of the P. Elliott site team.
This project for a major international food ingredients company is a fine example of the ability of P. Elliott & Company to deliver to aggressive programmes while maintaining the highest quality levels, and work in operational areas where restrictive work practices apply.
Phase II consisted of an extension and refurbishment to offices for the I.T Department of Coca-Cola.
This project included a high specification fit out, open plan office space, canteen and high end kitchen specifications.
The provision of a new entrance road and extension of the car park facilities were also included in this scheme.
This project was won as a result of P. Elliott’s successful completion of the phase 1 works, and the satisfaction of the client with our performance on this project.
