Castle Oak is an exclusive residential development located off the popular Dark Road on the edge of Nenagh Town. The scheme consists of 438 houses, 32 apartments, crèche and a neighbourhood centre.

The scheme has been imaginatively designed by HKR Architects with nine distinct house types. The design and layout of the development incorporates elements of revised Essesx guidelines which cultivates community living in small courtyard own-door developments as compared to long linear terraced streetscapes.

The houses are all timber-framed with external stone and coloured render finishes and PVC wood grain windows. The construction is to the highest standard and the houses and apartments provide the highest level of insulation, exceeding Building Regulations requirements. Internal features include fully-fitted kitchens with granite worktops, electric appliances, cobble lock paving to all paths/patios and driveways, tiled kitchens and bathrooms, painted walls, joinery and ceilings.

This project is the first example of P. Elliott & Company's ability in the South West Region to finance, resource, design and build a modern high quality residential development in an urban setting.
