The Group acquired the Homemakers Builders Providers business at Dublin Road, Cavan, in January 2006. This business has always had a close association with the Elliott family.

The company acquired the prime site at Dublin Road, Cavan in 2006 and the development of a new Homemakers Super Store comprising 4,180 sq m of retail space and 3,250 sq m of warehousing was completed in March 2008.

The store officially opened on 14th of March 2008 at the Kilmore Business park, Dublin Rd Cavan. Consisting of the following departments, Electrical, Homewares, Floors & Doors, Bathroom, Furniture and DIY. There is also a Patio , Paint and Renewable Energy centre all under one roof.

The new store has a two floor open plan-shopping environment linked with an escalator. With the wide range of departments in the store, Homemakers hope to fulfil all your shopping needs for your home.

Homemakers also offers a new concept to take out the hassle out of wedding gifts by allowing the happy couple to choose their ideal wedding gift list from our wide range of product. The guests can then view this list and choose what gift they would like to give from the list.
