Background
The Elliott family business was founded in 1942 by the late Patrick Elliott, grandfather of the current owners. That year, the business won its first construction contract. Now, over sixty years later, the organisation has developed into one of Ireland’s leading property development and construction firms with a turnover in 2006 of €310m.
P. Elliott & Company has a directly employed staff of over 470; a competent and capable core of subcontractors and a portfolio of property development and construction projects which are testament to the firm’s success.
Up until the nineteen eighties, the company operated almost exclusively as a building contracting firm. In the early eighties, while still maintaining the very important contracting arm of the business, the company successfully branched into the field of general property development, starting off with residential and industrial developments.
The growth and success of P. Elliott & Company is also reflected in our national standing in 2007 among building contractors and construction companies in Ireland as published by the Irish Construction Industry Magazine in April 2008;

The company’s head office is located in purpose built 35,000 sq.ft. headquarters at Century Business Park, Dublin Road, Cavan. The firm has the key regional offices; the Eastern Region office is based in Dublin 15, the Southern Region office located in Nenagh, Co Tipperary and the Northern Ireland office located in Belfast. The company is also currently in the process of opening a Cork based office in order to further service the Southern Region.
